Its been a month since I had my transplant there has been some hiccups as expected but overall I am doing ok.
One month post transplant you have a bone marrow biopsy and we should have the results in a few weeks.
I am at the hospital at least twice a week for blood checks, hickman line care and any drips or extra medications I may need, it usually means your there all day what with one thing or another but it is better if you can be treated as an outpatient.
Christmas has been a bit strange this year not being with family and friends and no roast dinner but we will celebrate when I finally go home from London.
The consultants have said my blood results have been good there has been some fluctuation but this is to be expected as it is only early days.
Still struggling a bit with the nausea and aches and pains but all to be expected. Its a marathon not a sprint so one day at a time :)
